Bicycling Western Australia (BWA) is a community based, not-for-profit organisation representing the interests of all bike riders with a focus on the health benefits of bike riding and physical activity.
BWA is the largest cycling organisation in WA with more than 15,000 members and friends throughout the State. Their aim is to get more people cycling more often through participation in community events, behaviour changes programs, education and advocacy. BWA is the primary body representing people who ride bikes. They promote harmony and friendship within the bike riding community through positive and transparent communications, maintaining professionalism and accountability, staying connected and being an approachable organisation. They work in close cooperation with government, decision makers, stakeholders and the wider community to ensure that bike riding is enjoyable and safe. Bike riding improves health, lowers costs for individuals and government and reduces road congestion.
